Cub Scout summer camps are great overnight parent/son experiences. You will have a great experience spending this time with your son. Many parents have as much fan as their sons do (some maybe more!). The weekends are fast‑paced with swimming, archery, BB gun, games, crafts nature, campfires, advancement work, and more. All camps are three days and two nights of Scouting fun!
Housing
Both camps will supply wall tents for those who need a tent or you can bring your family tent.
Wolf/Bear Cub Scout Camp
For current first- & second grade boys (second- and third-grades next fall). Two fast-paced, fun weekends to choose from.
Boys must come with a parent.
Dates: please see the Blackhawk Courier
Webelos Scout Camp
For current third- and fourth grade boys (fourth- and fifth-grades next fall).
"Bigger kid" Scouting fun and activities, plus progress on their outdoor Webelos activity badges. It is recommended that a parent comes with each Webelos Scout, but one parent can bring up to three Scouts (a 3 to 1 ratio).
Dates: please see the Blackhawk Courier
Note for Current Fifth-Grade Boys (Sixth-grade next fall):
These boys should be joining a Boy Scout troop in February or March and going to a week of Boy Scout summer camp adventure with their new troop.
