The Blackhawk Area Council serves over 15,000 youth in 12 counties, teaching
citizenship, community service, leadership skills and self-reliance, and
life skills like first aid, swimming and cooking. Scouting also teaches more
boys firearm safety and use each year at our camps than any other
organization. A silent auction will also be held at this event.
